Wish To Child
Childhood is said to be the best part of human life – an age where we are carefree, safe and happy. But a happy childhood is not the reality for many children, who are out-of-school. There are many reasons for children to drop out of school – from challenging socio-economic circumstances, to lack of awareness in communities where education is not seen as a priority.

The Kosi floods, which in 2008 affected more than 3.3 million people, causing hundreds of deaths, flooding over 900 villages and damaging more than 200,000 houses, were one of the worst in India. Around 18 districts of Bihar were devastated in the flood.
Cloth For Hope
Assam, along with Meghalya, is one of the North Eastern states that receive the highest rainfall during the monsoon season across the country. Over the last decade, floods and landslides caused by the excessive rainfall have been continuously ravaging the state. This has taken a heavy toll on lives, livelihoods, infrastructure, wild life and drained a lot of the state’s major resources. In 2022 however, the havoc started earlier when flash floods were brought on by pre-monsoon showers.
